Welcome to the inaugural post of etc. | the list, a monthly rundown of what I’m wearing, watching, reading, and using when I’m not overanalyzing. Think of it as a peek into my notes app or the recommendations I’m constantly dropping into my group chats.
Since this is a new series, I’d love your feedback: heart it if you like it, comment if you love it, or drop suggestions for ways to improve it.
Beauty and Style:
• Dr. Diamond’s Metacine’s latest launch, Instafacial Infusion, is a face-changer. It’s made with human-identical microcollagen to mimic medical-grade collagen infusion therapy. Been using it for two weeks and loving the results.
• NAD+ in skincare is next level efficacy, and this cream from Aramore is a new addition to my nighttime routine. Developed by Harvard and MIT scientists, this first-of-its-kind formulation repairs the skin barrier while targeting aging at its source. I’m a fan.
• S/O to Colorescience tinted SPF for giving such flawless yet natural coverage, I don’t even use foundation anymore… just this (and it’s acne-safe for my fellow acne-prone girlies). I wear the shade Medium.
• These Closed jeans are my only acceptable version of “baggy” (I know, I know, they’re not really oversized, which is exactly why I’m a fan). Been wearing them on repeat all month. Size up for a looser fit.
• This Debute cropped cardigan is so chic and versatile. I’m wearing it with jeans in the pic above, but come summer, I’ll be pairing it with skirts, shorts, and perhaps even throwing it over a dress for that effortless French girl vibe.
• This face tape has been making the rounds in my group chats. Arielle Lorre swears by the Japanese anti-aging technique as her alternative to Botox.

Watchlist:
• Paradise on Hulu - Obsessed. Sterling K. Brown and Julianne Nicholson… together? Magic. If you’re watching, leave a comment, and let’s discuss. If you’re not, where have you been? Start ASAP.
• Running Point on Netflix. - A lighthearted comedy starring one of the all-time great rom-com leads, Kate Hudson. While it’s not life-changing, it’s a highly bingeable, feel-good watch that offers a much-needed escape from the chaos of the world.
• Apple Cider Vinegar on Netflix - I don’t remember the last time I disliked a protagonist as much as Belle, yet this limited series is utterly bingeable. Based on a true-ish story about an Australian wellness influencer who faked cancer for followers and fame. So.Many.Thoughts.
• Prime Target on Apple TV - Takes an episode or two to warm up, but the concept is fascinating. Leo Woodall plays a mathematician extraordinaire who thinks he’s found a pattern in prime numbers. Then people start dying around him, and he’s the target. This show sent me into a full rabbit-hole spiral, culminating in an hour-long existential discourse with Perplexity.
• Landman on Paramount - For the few who haven’t yet watched it, thoroughly entertaining with stellar performances by Billy Bob and Ali Larter (who looks incredible in this). It’s from the creator of Yellowstone, and that’s all I’m telling you.
• 11.22.63 on Tubi - Oldie but goodie. Based on a Stephen King novel and starring James Franco as a time traveler who is tasked with stopping the JFK assassination. It’s giving slight Paradise vibes. Only eight episodes and utterly binge-worthy.
Reads and Listens:
• I discovered Nick Hornby’s Substack, A Fan’s Note, and am thoroughly enjoying his writing style (obviously, he’s a genius). This post is free and made me smile. Let’s just say I can relate.
• I know I’m late to the hype, but this The Cut personal essay by Grazie Sophia Christie on marrying older has created quite the Internet controversy. I have thoughts (which we can get into in our private group chat—are you a member yet?).
• None of This Is True by Lisa Jewell: I listened to the audiobook, and wow, was I hooked. A mystery that’ll have you questioning the truth until the very last sentence. The performances were incredible. Could not put it down (I mean, stop listening).
• This Smartless podcast episode with Tig Notaro had me actually LOLing. I sent it to all my group chats because every one of us deserves a little laughter after the sh*tstorm start to the year.
Randoms:
• With Gratitude is my new self-care secret weapon—an app devoted to sending daily gratitudes to friends and family. And the design is so chic, I’ve semi replaced doomscrolling with gratitude scrolling.
• This Healthyline Jet Mat was a gift courtesy of Poosh’s holiday mailer (IYKYK), and I’ve been using it on repeat to relax, relieve pain, and boost collagen from head to toe. I try to use it before bed while binging something on my watchlist—it’s a staple in my nighttime routine.
• Gamma for creating decks and presentations has changed my work life. If you’re life involves Power Point or the like, try this instead. You’re welcome.
• Maxine’s Heavenly Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies are my healthyish snack of choice. Dairy- and gluten-free, made with oats and dates, and packed with two grams of protein per cookie. I almost don’t consider it a treat and, bonus, it’s surprisingly good for digestion too (we can thank the dates).
That’s all for this list—next list hitting your inbox next month!
11/22/63??? The ONLY thing I haven’t seen on your watchlist! 🤭 GOOD STUFF.
